Tubeless Rear Tyre Problems

The rear tyre of YAMAHA FZ-S and FAZER have wide tubeless tyres. Rear tyre looks good but many problems faced by the FZs and FAZER bike riders. The main Problem is that many nails, screws, sharp metal object etc gets prick on the wide tyres. Hence the air comes out from the tyre most often. It doesn't work if you put patch on it because patch comes out slowly. One cannot afford to buy a new tyre which cost around Rs. 3000 without using it for 25000 K.M.

The best solution and best way to get rid out of this problem is to put a Tube inside the tubeless tyre. A tyre having tube will not get leak easily. A tube cost around Rs 300. It is better to spend Rs. 300 on a tube instead of Rs. 3000 for a new tyre.

    1. MRF tyres are not durable. Next time I'm planning for Michelin tyres which will cost about 300 more but can last fr about 8000 kms more than MRF tyres. My MRF rear tyre has lasted for only 22K kms. Go for Michelin or Yokohama tyres. Mite be expensive but very long lasting. Tubeless is best compared to tubed tyres.

  3. if puncher is small no need to solve it

keep object inside and enjoy riding becoz air pressure will not go below 20 if object is not pull out

  4. but mileage will be very less at 20... if u put tube inside and wen get punctured its too tough to open the tyre to remove the tube....Road side repair is impossible..

    2. Use any tyre sealant liquid..
Its works gr8.. And it automatically seals the puncture ..
Put 300-400 ml liquid which will cost around 400-500Rs. It will last upto 7-8 months..or 8,000 kms. I think..

Pfz and slime are gud tyre sealants

  11. Hi friends, I'm too facing the same problem. Due to FZ widend nature of rear tyre it picks up almost every shap nails on the road. I took the vehice to the service center in Kudlu gate and one of the service person suggested me to try using seelent inside the rear tyre which could solve my problem and will patch up all the small holes created inside the tyres at the time of fixing the puncture. He also told me that it will prevent the tyre from getting punctured often by seeling the puncture from inside automatically. Does any one have any idea abt this? is so please suggest.

  16. Ya but tube tyre its not comfortable to ride like speed, lappi.... Etc ... Its better use nitrogen in tyre .... Its very good to ride

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. what has nitrogen to do with comfort etc... its just marketting gimmick..... nitrogen is inert and will prevent any corrosion on the inside ... thats it nothing special... there is anyways 70 % nitrogen in the normal air we fill

  28. A tire is what that does most which a vehicle runs. Whether it's a car or a bike but choosing a good brand of tire is important. Also choosing a good dealer is needed. German Auto Parts CA. With a little more expense you can have tires of good quality. It's better to spent a little while buying rather visiting the repair center in intervals.
